Our guests have at their disposal attractive varied leisure facilities (swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, Roman bath, table tennis, bowling, billiards and library). The sunny terrace, the bright and friendly foyer, the “Zirbelstube” und the comfortable “Kofelstüberl” are ideal for social get-togethers, reading, chatting, relaxing and to feel good. Our kiosk has a comprehensive range of everyday necessities, also für entertainment (par example puzzle magazines).

The calm and yet central location of our hotel invites for walks at the nearby “Lärchenhügel” or to the center of Oberammergau. Short or long hiking tours along the river Ammer or in the mountains of the Ammergau area contribute to recovery.

More than 100 km hiking and biking trails invite you for substantial excursions. Situated on the outskirts of Oberammergau and yet central located our hotel also is an ideal starting point for active winter-holidays with winter hiking, cross-country skiing etc.

Nestled in the picturesque scenery of the Upper Bavarian landscape, Oberammergau stands for an ideal combination of untouched mountain scenery and cultural treasures with modern pulsating life. By taking a walk through Oberammergau there is plenty to discover and marvel at, par example for the region typical fresco-painting (Lüftlmalerei) or unique wood carvings, evident equally in the “Pilatushaus” and the Oberammergau Museum.
Excursion destinations, famous around the world, are the near-by abbey of Ettal, the pilgrimage church “Wieskirche”, the famous castles of Linderhof, Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau etc.
