The diagnosis is made with advanced medical equipment, such as:

  • Electrocardiogram
  • Ultrasonic examination of the heart including stress echocardiography
  • Long-term measurement of the arterial blood pressure
  • Sonography
  • Spiroergometry
  • Sleep apnea examination
  • Pulmonary function test and oxygen measurement

In case of emergency there are alle medical facilities up to intensive monitoring with the possibility of articial ventilation on hand.

In cooperation with the cardiology unit of the Klinikum Garmisch-Partenkirchen further special tests are possible (heart catheter examination, balloon dilatation, stent implantation).
